Counting is underway in 11 centres across the country in the Super Delegates' Conference of the opposition New Patriotic Party.

In the Upper East Region, preliminary results indicate that two-time flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, polled 37 votes out of a total of 38. 

Mr. Addai Nimoh picked the only other vote.

In the Central Region Nana Akufo-Addo obtained 51 votes, Alan Kyerematen - 1, Mr. Joe Ghartey - 2. The rest got zero.

Western Region: Akufo-Addo - 45; Stephen Asamoah Boateng - 7; Osei Ameyaw - 2; Joe Ghartey - 7; the rest zero.

Volta Region: Akufo-Addo - 28; Alan Kyerematen - 14; Asamoah Boateng - 1; Kofi Konadu Apraku - 2; Addai Inmoah - 1; Osei Ameyaw - 4; and Joe Ghartey - 1.

Eastern Region: Nana Akufo-Addo - 77; Alan Kyerematen - 2; Konadu Apraku - 1; Osei Ameyaw - 1; Addai Nimoh - 3; the rest zero.

NPP National Headquarters: Akufo-Addo - 65; Alan Kyerematen - 7; Konadu Apraku - 2; Osei Ameyaw - 2; Asamoah Boateng - 1; the rest zero.
