Al Ahly threw away a two-goal lead to lose 4-2 to Pachuca of Mexico after extra time in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup in Japan on Saturday.The Egyptians led 2-0 at half-time, with a Fausto Pinto own goal in the 28th minute and Flavio scoring with a breakaway effort on 45 minutes.Luis Montes pulled one back for Pachuca, and Christian Gimenez's free-kick took the game to extra time.A Damian Alvarez goal and another from Gimenez gave Pachuca victory.Pachuca will play South American champions LDU of Ecuador in the semi-finals on Wednesday.Al Ahly will play for fifth place on Thursday against the losers of Sunday's quarter-final between Japan's Gamba Osaka and Adelaide United of Australia."We panicked," said Ahly's Portuguese coach Manuel Jose.
