UK-trained entrepreneur, Prince Kassim has thrown in the hat to contest for the national youth organiser slot of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the upcoming National Delegates’ Congress.
The National Youth Organiser position will throw up a challenge that involves the incumbent, Ludwig Akpene Hlodze and a former Branch organiser in the Ketu North, William Kwasi Ahamazie who contested for the same position in 2010 but lost to the incumbent.
The NDC would go to congress on 24th October to elect new National Executives. The congress would run from 24th to 26th October, 2014, at a yet to be decided venue.
Kassim who comes from Akatsi in the Volta Region, left the shores of the country after he received part of his secondary education at the Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School in Legon, Accra.
Prince Kassim received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Management and is currently a candidate for the Master of Science degree in Business and Management at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom.
Prince Kassim is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Petro-Electric Company, an independent consulting firm.
Prior to founding Petro-Electric Company, Prince Kassim worked as a Consultant for four years at the West London Head Office of TalkTalk Telecom in the UK.
