One person is reported to have perished in a crash involving supporters travelling to Tamale to watch the AFCON qualifier between Ghana’s Black Stars and their counterparts from Guinea.
The deceased is reported to be an accounts clerk at the Kumasi Stadium Clinic. Five other victims are said to be in critical condition. Myjoyonline.com cannot independently confirm the casualties.

They were said to be travelling in a Toyota Sequdia vehicle with number AW 9759 W, when the vehicle somersaulted and landed on one side, close to the bank of the White Volta at Yapei near Tamale.
The accident occurred Wednesday October 15, 2014.
Adnan Lopez, an eye witness reported that three people got seriously injured and have been rushed to the Tamale Government Hospital for treatment.

The Black Stars face their counterparts from Guinea in a second leg of the qualifier later Wednesday ahead of the 2015 AFCON tournament to be staged in Morocco in January.
