Dr Albert N. Arthur, Chief Executive of Accra Great Olympics Football Club has resigned with immediate effect.
In a letter to the Board of Directors of the Club, Dr. Arthur assigned personal reasons for his resignation.
But he told the GNA Sports that, the decision was to ensure peace in the Club, adding that, he was not prepared to make further comments on his actions.
Asked whether the action will not affect the administration of the club, Dr. Arthur said “that is what they want”.
Dr. Arthur was appointed by the Board of Directors about a month ago and his resignation comes as a surprise.Source: GNA
