The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has terminated its three year contract with Gateway Broadcasting Services (GBS) with immediate effect.
A statement issued and signed by Mr Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of GFA in Accra on Wednesday copied to GNA Sports, said the action was in pursuance to clause 9.1.1 of the Media Rights Heads of Agreement signed on December 10, 2007, which has been necessitated by the liquidation of GBS as announced by its Board January 30, 2009.
It said the Association is inviting bids for the sale of Television Rights (cable/free on air) of the Glo Premier League.
The statement said companies interested in acquiring such rights may submit written bids detailing their financial and technical proposals to the GFA.
The deadline for the submission of the bids is Wednesday, February 11.
