Coach Milovan Rajevac has suffered another blow ahead of Wednesday's friendly clash with Egypt after Laryea Kingston suffered yet another injury.
Kingston, who plays for Scottish side Hearts, is set to miss the Homecoming Scottish Cup tie with Falkirk on Saturday due to his troublesome hamstring injury.
Manager Csaba Laszlo admits Kingston may even be allowed to return to doctors in Ghana to solve the problem.
This means the midfielder will not be available for the Black Stars when they take on the Pharaohs in Cairo.
His absence is a blow for the Serbian coach would have tried Kingston in the central midfield role ahead of the start of next month's World Cup qualifiers.
With striker Matthew Amoah also out through injury and the Satellite trio of Dede Ayew, Agyemang Badu and Samuel Inkoom, Rajevac has been forced to re-adjust his squad.
Kingston's absence hands a further headache for the coach as he will seek another late-call up as a replacement.
The midfielder's season has been rocked by this nagging hamstring injury which has kept him out for most parts of the season.
