Mrs. Ama Benyiwa-Doe, Central Regional Minister Nominee has expressed gratitude to her teeming supporters who thronged Parliament House on Wednesday to give her moral support during her vetting.
Speaking to the GNA at Apam, Mrs. Benyiwa-Doe also expressed gratitude to Obrifo Ahunaku Aahor Ankobea II, Omanhene of Gomoa Akyempim, chiefs and queenmothers from Gomoa East and West Districts, Regional and /Gomoa West Constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress and youth groups from Cape Coast and Gomoa West District for their support.
“I was overwhelmed by the massive support during the vetting,” she said.
This, she said has assured her of the massive support she would get in the discharge of her work when given the nod.
“I have people to be relied upon in transforming the living standard of the people of the region,” she stated.
Mrs. Benyiwa-Doe assured her teeming supporters that she would not disappoint them when she gets the nod.
“I know the problems of the region and with your collaboration I am sure we can make headway.”
She expressed gratitude to President J.E. Atta Mills for giving her the opportunity to serve her people and added that, with her experience as Member of Parliament for 12 years, she hoped to deliver.
