Chairman of Bukom Messiah Football Club, Mr Patrick Taylor, has called on the youth to champion the cause of unity and oneness to enable them aspire to greater heights in life.
He said unity and oneness plays a vital role in the socio-economic development of every aspect of life and that without unity nobody can achieve their aims of development.
Mr Taylor made the call at the end of the maiden Odododiodio Youth Gala Championship played at the Bukom Square in Accra on Saturday.
Messiah F/C defeated Akpe Sales 3-2 on penalties to win the event, which was organized by Messiah Zero-Zero.
In the opening match of the day, Sport Five lost 0-1 to Messiah while Akpe Sales edged out Fadidi 3-2 on penalties.
The Best Goalkeeper award of the competition went to Michael Sackey of Messiah F/C.
Mr Taylor also advised the youth to not to allow themselves to be used as agents to foment troubles.
He appealed to corporate bodies and institutions to support the Club to enable it carry out its programmes.
