Black Satellites striker Dominic Adiyiah hit a brace for his Norwegian side Fredrikstad in their 6-2 loss to Swedish IFK Gothenburg in an international friendly on Thursday night.
The 19-year-old struggled to find his form at the just ended African Youth Championship in Rwanda but seems to have rediscovered his scoring prowess on pre-season tour.
Adiyiah pulled a goal back before the interval after going down 2-0 at home.
Gothenburg went up twice in the second half again through Tomas Hysen and Peter Wernblom within the space of six minutes.
Adiyiah again reduced the deficit on the 59th minute but that could not scare Gothenburg who were in devastating form.
Fredrikstad will play in next season's Uefa Champions League after winning the Norwegian League last term.
