The Ministry of Interior has reviewed the curfew imposed on residents of Bimbilla, in the Northern region.
The curfew is now from 10pm to 4am.
The curfew was imposed on the town some months ago after clashes in the town following a chieftaincy dispute resulting in the death of the Bimbilla Na.
A statement issued and signed by the sector Minister Mark Woyongo also urged the chiefs, opinion leaders and residents in the area to exercise restraint despite the difficulties involve in the exercise.
He also advised them to make an effort to co-exist peacefully.
The statement also cautioned residents to desist from carrying arms and ammunition or offensive weapon, as those caught to have flouted the order will be dealt with according with the law.
