Asante Kotoko claim Spanish Primera Liga side Espanyol have joined the race to sign right-back Samuel Inkoom.
Early this week, the club reported a a 750,000 euros deal from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
Agents of the club are in Bouake monitoring his performance at the African Nations Championship.
Espanyol are ready to match the 750,000 euros offered by PSG and snatch the enterprisng player to the Olympic Lluis Companys.
