Adomonline.com can report authoritatively that former Member of Parliament for Adenta will contest the Deputy General Secretary position of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Kojo Adu-Asare is convinced with him in that position the party will surely be retained in power after the 2016 general election.
He faces stiff competition from incumbent, George Lawson and former Director of Communications at the presidency, Koku Anyidoho.
Though a former MP, the presidential staffer is seen as an ‘underdog’ in the race because it seems to be a straight fight between Koku Anyidoho and George Lawson.
But Adu-Asare thinks otherwise.
According to him, having won an election back-to back, “we need a solid team to fight a stiff opposition to ensure the NDC wins the 2016 elections”.
Adu-Asare believes he has enormous experience with the right strategy to ensure the vision of the party comes into fruition.
