The Volta Regional Executives of the ruling NDC are angry at the president for sidelining them in his appointments.
The executives say they are disappointed that despite all their hard work which the party to power, none of them has been appointed by the president to any position.
Some have consequently threatened to resign from the party if the neglect continues.
Joy News’ Agbeko Ben Cofie reports many of the disappointed executives feel betrayed by President Mills.
Their hopes of getting government appointments and enjoying the pecks of office have remained a particularly seductive illusion.
Pleading anonymity for fear of victimization, some of the executives told Ben Cofie that despite promises by the National Executive of the party and the presidency, nothing had been heard.
They complained not even one out of the 18 members has been given any position in government.
They are, therefore dejected and frustrated.
