Troubled Black Stars striker Junior Agogo began his push back into the Zamalek first team after scoring for the U20s on Monday night in their 2-2 draw with Telecom Egypt.
He scored first-half penalty before youngster Hossam Gamal doubled Zamalek's lead. But Telecom managed to level things in the last 15 minutes.
Agogo struggled under former boss Ruudi Zollman and with the return of Michel Decastel he has been down the pecking order.
The 29-year-old has been left out for selection in some league games which the White Knights have struggled to win.
The former Nottingham Forrest striker has had a nightmarish experience since joining the five-time African champions last summer.
