Ghana captain Stephen Appiah was the star of the show when the Black Stars trained at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday.
The influential midfielder's swerving 30-yard drive that beat goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy was the toast of the fans.
The former Juventus player had several lively encounters with in-form England-based defender John Pantsil that also attracted attention.
Returnee striker Asamoah Gyan and Matthew Amoah showed some sharpness in attack as they also converted decent chances.
All the players of the national team were looking sharp as they also looked to avoid injuries ahead of the game.
They will be joined by Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari and Anthony Annan in training later today.
Ghana will take on Benin on Sunday in Group D of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
