The government says it has put all the necessary measures in place to ensure the Black Stars are well motivated to win their World Cup qualifier with Benin today.The Senior National team is clashing with the Squirrels of Benin as they seek to secure a two-straight qualification to the world’s biggest soccer fiesta to be hosted by South Africa in 2010.The Youth and Sports Minister, Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak told Joy News all outstanding issues relating to bonuses and allowances had been resolved.He said the players, therefore, have nothing to worry about.According to him, as a result of government’s efforts, morale of the boys was high.He is optimistic Ghana will win the match and brighten the country chances of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup.Alhaji Mubarak noted security was on high alert, giving the assurance the match will be incident free.President J. E. A. Mills admonished the players to give off their best and not disappoint the nation.He reminded the of the need to tackle the match with dedication and patriotism.Story by Malik Abass Daabu
