The Statesman newspaper today reported that, Mr. Portuphy will soon institute a court action to pull down or demolish ex-President Kufuor’s Airport residence because as he put it “the house is standing in a water way.”
According to the paper, Mr. Portuphy’s assertions may be just a figment of his imagination, fueled perhaps by a blinding desire to further humiliate the former President.
In an interview with Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” Morning Show, Mr Portuphy said, he was referring to some private houses in front of ex-President Kufuor’s house, not the ex-President’s house.
According to him, the media got him wrong. He expressed his disappointment in the media because according to him, they got him wrong. He added that without the assistance of the media, they cannot discharge their duties successfully - but the media should remember that their responsibility is to report the truth.
