The return of midfielder Laryea Kingston is expected to boost the Ghana squad when the Black Stars take on Mali and Sudan in the World Cup qualifiers in June.
The 28-year-old was not available when the Black Stars beat Benin 1-0 in their opening World Cup qualifier in Kumasi because of injury.
But he is expected to be fit for his Scottish club Hearts' first fixture after a successful treatment on his hamstring injury.
The Ghana international returned from a visit to sports injury specialist Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt in Germany at the end of last week after undergoing a series of injections.
Midfielder Kingston has been out for more than a month and the decision to fly him out to Dr Muller-Wohlfahrt's Munich clinic was taken after club doctors were left scratching their heads over the problem.
The consultation appears to have worked and Hearts officials believe the player will be ready to return for the SPL game on the weekend of May 2-3.
Manager Csaba Laszlo said: "The treatment seems to have gone well and the player is happy with things.
"Things are looking more positive for him and there is every chance he will be available early next month after the league splits.
"Larry will continue working closely with the medical department and we'll see how things go but it is certainly encouraging for him."Source: Ghanasoccernet
