A former Minister of State at the Presidency in the Kufuor administration, Alhaji Moctar Bamba is challenging the ruling National Democratic Congress government to arrest and prosecute him in any court if they think he has been corrupt or involved himself in any corrupt practices during the New Patriotic Party administration.
Reacting to an allegation by an NDC stalwart Fiifi Ankrah, Alhaji Moctar Bamba who worked at the presidency under ex-President Kufuor indicated that, he is ever ready to face any criminal charges since he knows very well that he did nothing wrong
Fiifi Ankrah had made reference to Alhaji Bamba as a corrupt politician, alleging that when Bamba was at the Castle, he stole an official letterhead to do his private business as well as caused financial loss to the state.
But Alhaji Bamba indicted on Asempa FM’s Ekosii sen discussion programme, that a party member approached him at the Castle to help him secure a job, to which he obliged.
According to him, the man went for a form from the Registrar General’s Department after which he helped him to fill the form.
He said later the man was arrested after being involved in a wrong deal, and when the man was traced to the Castle, he (Bamba) was investigated and exonerated eventually.
