Ghana defender Hans Adu Sarpei will leave German side Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season in search of regular action to help him return to the Black Stars.
The 32-year-old has not been active for his country since his excellent outing at the African Cup of Nations last year.
His lack of playing time at the Bundesliga side seems to have cost him his place in the Black Stars even though his left-back position is still a problem for Ghana.
Sarpei, who is keen on playing at the 2010 World Cup, says he has agreed with Leverkusen to loan him out at the end of the season.
"I have agreed with the officials - they are going to loan me out next season," Sarpei said.
"I have not been called up by the national team coach since I am sitting on the bench at Leverkusen.
"My great goal is the World Cup 2010. I will have to play somewhere in order to get a call-up."
He has not been regular for the club even though he played a key part in their campaign last season.
Sarpei was a key player for the Black Stars when Ghana hosted the Nations Cup in January 2008.
