Ghana star Anthony Annan has denied that he is in talks about a move to Wigan Athletic.The Rosenborg ace denies making any comments to the media in his homeland claiming he is looking to seal a move to the JJB Stadium.Annan, who has previously been watched by a host of clubs from Britain, has become a key member of the Ghana national side alongside the likes of Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien.He moved to Rosenborg in 2008 and has impressed for the Norwegian giants, and a number of English clubs are again tracking him.However, reports in Ghana quoted Annan claiming he was in contact with Wigan about a summer move.But the 22-year-old has told Skysports that he has never said anything to the press about his future."I don't know where these quotes have come from, something similar happened last year with quotes about Tottenham," he told Skysports."It is just somebody being mischievous. I have had no contact with Wigan or any club."Annan insists he is fully focused on doing his best for both Rosenborg and Ghana in the coming year."I am focused on helping Ghana qualify for the World Cup and to help Rosenborg win the title this season," he continued.Source: ghanasoccernet
