Ex-Black Stars striker Tony Yeboah has denied reports linking him to a managerial role at defending League champions Asante Kotoko.
Reports emanating from Kumasi claimed the former Frankfurt captain was in line to be named by Otumfuo as a member of yet-to-be constituted management team of Kotoko.
"I am currently in Italy and doesn't know about any plans by anyone to make me part of the management of Kotoko," Yeboah is quoted in the Graphic Sports.
Current Chief Executive Sylvester Asare-Owusu is facing a five-year ban from the sport and it is rumoured he might be replaced by the club's Life Patron anytime soon.
Another former international, Samuel Osei-Kuffour, has appeared in the local media as a candidate being considered for a role in the club's management team.
