Ghana youth international Rabiu Mohammed Alhassan returns to Italian side Udinese Calcio after completing a loan spell at Spanish second division side Xerez CD.
The 19-year-old joined Udinese from Liberty Professionals in 2006 but was farmed out to Spanish sides.
He was loaned out to Spanish side Gimnastic in January 2008 before making the switch to Xerez CD in June last year.
The lanky midfielder leaves Accra on Sunday night to begin the fight for a place in coach Pasquale Marino's side
Rabiu told Ghanasoccernet.com he intent on winning a place in the Udinese set-up on his return: "Now that my loan move to Xerez is over, I am going to work hard to stake claim for my position."
"I know it is not going to be easy, but hard work and dedication will see me through at Udinese."
"Xerez was good for me and I have learned a lot from different coaches and I believe my confidence level is much higher now," he added.
"It is only a matter of time for me at Udinese and fans should pray for me and watch out."
Rabiu was instrumental in the Ghana's qualification to the Africa Youth Championship in Rwanda early this year.
But injury rocked his dream of playing for the Black Satellites at the finals.
"The injury I sustained ruled me out of the Africa Youth Championship but am confident now that am back fully fit, things will be alright.
"Am excited at my return to Udinese. It is good club with a great coach, hopefully I will get more playing time." he added.
The midfielder joins compatriot Kwadwo Asamoah who has hit a rich vein of form at the Fruili this term.
