The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has initiated moves to draw fans to the various stadia during matches.
Patronage of matches across the country has reached an all-time low and GHALCA is considering efforts aimed at curbing the menace.
A statement signed by GHALCA Administrative Manager, Kurt E. S. Okraku said his outfit in conjunction with the Premier League Board (PLB) will organise a forum on the subject titled “Bringing back our lost football fans.”
The one-day forum scheduled for the Media Centre of the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2009.
Other stakeholders invited for the forum include the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Football Clubs, Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Association of Sports Broadcasters of Ghana (ASBOG) and Organised Football Supporters’ Groups.
