Midfielder Sulley Muntari became the second Ghanaian to win the Italian league trophy after his club Inter Milan clinched the title on Saturday.
Inter retained their Serie A title with three games to spare after second-placed AC Milan put in a weak performance to lose 2-1 at Udinese.
Inter are assured of keeping the Scudetto badge on their jerseys for a fourth straight time when they tackle guests Siena on Sunday with a seven-point advantage, which Milan can't close as they have two remaining games.
Muntari becomes the second Ghanaian to have his name on the title after Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah won the Scudetto in 2005 with Juventus.
This is Muntari second major trophy in Europe after winning the English FA Cup final with Portsmouth last season.
He will play in the Uefa Champions League next season.
Inter's triumph, in coach Jose Mourinho's first season in charge, is their fourth straight scudetto and their 17th overall.
The champions, who will celebrate their success in Sunday's home match with Siena.
Milan captain Paolo Maldini, who retires at the end of the season, had a night to forget on his 900th appearance for the Rossoneri.
The 40-year-old pulled down Antonio Floro Flores on 31 minutes to allow Gaetano D'Agostino to fire home a penalty and then failed to clear a corner before Cristian Zapata slammed the ball in at the far post early in the second half.
Massimo Ambrosini headed in for Milan in stoppage time.
