Hearts of Oak striker Charles Taylor is a target of Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv after turning down an offer to play for Congolese side TP Mazembe.
Officials of the Israeli side are in Accra to hold discussions with Hearts of Oak for a possible deal.
Taylor, 27, turned down a lucrative US$ 250,000 deal for a three-month loan spell with the DR Congo champions.
Taylor is eager to move out after Hearts failed to pay him the remainder of his enticement fee.
He produced an electrifying form at the CHAN tournament in Cote d'Ivoire in March.
"He did not want to go to Congo because of the country but Hapoel guys are here and they are talking to Hearts,'' Taylor manager Bismark Ohene told Ghanasocecrnet.com
"I think he is eager to play in Israel than play in Congo even though the offer was good."
"They were going to pay him $250,000 for him for three months, which was extremely good and pay him $10,000 every month.’
"Such figures for only three months for a local player were extremely lucrative. But my boy wants to go somewhere apart from Congo."
"I know Hapoel are in town and holding discussion with Hearts, and so I guess we have to wait and see how things will fall out."
