A 27-year-old Disc Jockey (DJ) and a Musician, has added his voice to the fight against homosexuality in the world as he hit the music industry with a single hip life song to combat the canker.
Enoch Kwasi Fobih of Rainbow Radio International, a private radio station in Accra and London, who comes with a showbiz name, “DJ Eminimu” believes homosexuality is abomination since Bible, Quran and other traditional worshipers frown on the act.
DJ Eminimu is adding his voice to the tens of countries where homosexuality is illegal.
The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association, ILGA, lists 79 out of 194 independent countries around the world with criminal laws against sexual activity by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex people (LGBTIs).
The song, dubbed, “Stop Homosexual”, begins with a powerful hip life rhythm that would put listeners, young and old, male and female onto their fit to boogie until the five minutes track has ended.
The single track referred to the Bible where God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah due to such acts and cautions the Ghana government against legalizing homosexuality.
Featuring K. Dame, the song describes as an abomination, for one to penetrate at the wrong place during sexual intercourse.
DJ Eminimu lyrically warned “homosexual is an abomination, my nation, stop listen, attention… Bible, Quran you go see these things. Jesus Christ spoke against it. Mohammed also pre-condemned it. Buda, traditional them hate it. Salasi go slap you about this. Chief Imam, pastors, President, Nananom, Ama Ghana, [should wake up and fight against homosexuality]”.
Blending the English language and the Twi dialect, DJ Eminimu directly charged the United States government to stand up and speak against homosexual instead of legalizing it. “America must stand against gayism. Let's say no to gayism, [and] let's condemn gayism”.
