Ecobank Ghana has reviewed the working hours of some of its branches located in the affected lockdown areas.
The bank said the decision is a necessary precaution in view of the Covid-19 lockdown.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has imposed a 14-day lockdown on some cities including Accra, Tema and Kumasi in a bid to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Only providers of essential services including banks are allowed to work during the period.
As a result, Ecobank says it has reviewed its working hours the following branches within the restricted areas which will open from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm:

Ecobank Tema Main
Ecobank Hospital Road, Tema
Ecobank Spintex, Accra
Ecobank A&C, Accra
Ecobank Abeka Lapaz, Accra
Ecobank Silver Star Tower, Accra
Ecobank Osu, Accra
Ecobank Madina – Firestone, Accra
Ecobank Dansoman, Accra
Ecobank Weija, Accra
Ecobank Kasoa, Accra
Harper Road, Kumasi
Bantama, Kumasi
Kumasi Stadium
Ecobank Ghana said apart from the listed branches, banking operations in all other regions remain unchanged.
However, it said there will be no Saturday banking in any of its branches nationwide till further notice.
The bank encourages its customers to use the Ecobank ATMs, payment platforms and digital channels which are available around the clock.
Ecobank Ghana advises all its customers to do their transactions on Ecobank the listed digital platforms so as to limit the use of cash.
The banks said its customer service agents are available 24/7 on toll-free call on 3225 as well as on its social media handles.
