Ecobank Ghana has rewarded more than 4,000 customers in the grand finale of its ‘5-Star Enjoyment’ promotion held at the Kejetia Market in Kumasi.
In total, 4,268 customers received various cash prizes and gift packages in the final draw, marking the climax of the nationwide savings promotion designed to encourage a strong culture of financial discipline among Ghanaians.
The ‘5-Star Enjoyment’ promotion, launched in partnership with the National Lottery Authority, forms part of the bank’s strategic initiative to reward loyalty and promote savings among its customers.
The campaign targeted 10,000 customers nationwide, with earlier draws held in November and December 2025.

Head of Marketing and Brand at Ecobank Ghana, Regina Ofori, disclosed that the bank disbursed a combined total of GH₵630,000 in cash and other rewards during the Kumasi final.
“An amount of GH₵367,500 was paid out as direct cash rewards, while GH₵262,500 was distributed in the form of shopping vouchers, insurance packages, fuel coupons, and mobile airtime,” she stated

She further noted that over the three-month campaign period, Ecobank distributed rewards worth GH₵1.5 million, positively impacting approximately 10,000 customers across the country.
Head of Consumer Products at Ecobank Ghana, William Danso Abeam, explained that the promotion was to excite customers.
“The 5-Star Enjoyment promotion was introduced not only to reward our customers but also to encourage long-term savings habits and deepen engagement with our digital banking solutions,” he said.

He cautioned prize winners to remain vigilant and avoid fraud, stressing that Ecobank would not call or request sensitive personal information before customers can access their rewards.
The initiative has been widely welcomed by traders, particularly market women, with many describing it as a timely intervention that motivates them to save regularly while enjoying tangible benefits.
The promotion underscores Ecobank’s commitment to enhancing financial inclusion and rewarding customer loyalty across Ghana.
