The ex-wife of the late evangelist, Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku, popularly known as ‘Apraku My Daughter’, has said the preacher would still be alive if he had "listened" to her.
According to her, she warned the founder and leader of King Jesus Evangelistic Ministry International several times about some issues but he failed to listen to her.
She was teary-eyed as she spoke in an interview shortly after Evangelist Apraku's death was made public.
She explained that on some occasions, she did cater for the evangelist whenever he needed her although they weren’t together as a married couple,
According to her, she did it because of their children.
"I am very sad...I have gone inside the room and I saw him lying there...It wouldn’t have ended this way.
"I spoke to him many times but he didn’t listen and I couldn’t force him so I had to break up and move on with my life," she said.
The late Evangelist Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku was found dead in his room on Wednesday May 20, 2020. This was after a video clip purporting to show him drunk was circulated on some social media platforms.
