Fans of Hearts of Oak called for the dismissal of head coach Kosta Papic after the team crashed to their third straight defeat against King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium.
They attributed the team's slump in form to the coach's tactics as the Phobians have picked up six points from a possible 18.
The supporters gathered around the team's bus and held the coach hostage in the dressing room for considerable period of time.
Hearts were dominated by a nine-man Faisal side from the blast of the whistle and inflicted a painful 1-0 defeat on the league leaders.
"I feel very sad for this third defeat but I can only blame the technical handlers," an exasperated fan told Ghanasoccernet.com
Hearts play Real Tamale United at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Sunday.
