Member of defunct music group 4x4, Captain Planet has expressed his displeasure with Ghanaians over the lack of support for homegrown talent.
The rapper took to his Twitter page to share his disappointment in the preference of foreign music over indigenous ones.
“See how Nigerians are tweeting about Burna boy’s album. This is what I have been talking about. As for Ghana music industry dieerrr I will leave it here.
We dey kill our own here b4 e the album self go come out then another agenda party destroy it koraa [SIC],” he tweeted.
Captain Planet was making particular reference to the massive online support Nigerian afrobeats heavyweight Burna Boy has received from Ghanaians on his just released 'Twice as Tall' album.
It is his hope that Ghanaian music lovers would learn from the support Nigerians give to their acts and give same to Ghanaian artistes.
