A handful of Nigerian afrobeat superstars have been nominated for the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The shortlist was released on Friday evening.
Davido and Omah Lay made the cut for their collaboration on ‘With You’ for Best African Music Performance.
The category also sees ‘Love’ by Burna Boy and ‘Gimme Dat’ by Ayra Starr and Wizkid nominated.
Burna Boy, who already has a Grammy to his name, has been nominated for the Best Global Music Album for ‘No Sign of Weakness’.
