The family of the late singer Kofi B was shocked to see the musician's biological father who had been presumed dead for over two decades show up soon after his son's burial.
According to the family, in 1989, Kwabena Krah Boakye travelled to seek greener pastures in Côte d’Ivoire and never returned home until now.
He was reported dead after citizens of Côte d’Ivoire attacked Ghanaian nationals when Kotoko beat Asec Mimosas in 1993, some family members said in an interview with Kofi TV.
It, therefore, came as a surprise to all when they saw a neighbour bring Mr Boakye home a few hours after his son Kofi B had been buried.
Narrating his ordeal Mr Boakye, believed to be in his mid-seventies, said he was robbed of everything and had no money to pay for his transportation back home to Ghana.
He stated that he was fortunate to meet a good samaritan who helped him relocate to Ghana and find his way back home.
