The Suntory Beverage and Food Europe, represented by the brand Lucozade in West Africa, has provided additional support of One Hundred Thousand cedis to the Ghana Covid-19 Private Sector Fund.
The beverage manufacturer initially supported the construction of Ghana’s first infectious disease centre at the Ga East Municipal Hospital by refreshing the construction workers with restorative drinks.
Country Manager of the Suntory Beverage and Food Europe for Ghana and West Africa, Mensah Seneadza, presented the cheque on behalf of the group to the administrator of the Covid-19 Private Sector Fund, Felix Kyei-Mensah.

“We heeded to further calls to continue to support the Infectious Disease Centre as more of such facilities will be constructed in other regions especially in the Ashanti and Western regions,” Mr Seneadza said.
“We also want to encourage individuals to continue to send their support to ensure that this project is successful for this country," he added.

The administrator of the Covid-19 Private Sector Fund, Felix Kyei-Mensah on his part, expressed gratitude to Suntory Group for the continuing support.

“We want to thank Suntory and Food Beverage Europe for this gesture. Lucozade has been with us through the construction stage, energizing the project team.”
