Real Tamale United head coach Abdul Razak fears the rest of the matches in the Glo Premier could be compromised as the league gradually reaches home stretch.
The 48-year-old former Asante Kotoko player has raised the red flag insisting the Premier League Board should be wary of match fixing.
Eight clubs-Mirren, Gamba All Blacks, Hasaacas, Liberty Professionals, RTU, AshantiGold, Tema Youth and Kessben FC-are caught up in the relegation dog-fight.
The 1978 African footballer of the year maintains some clubs which look safe could play it soft to benefit others.
"We don't have to behave it is not happening. We are in it and we know is true and is taking place," Razak said.
"We don't come out to openly talk about the fact that some clubs are fixing matches because you may not have the evidence.
"But we know it is happening because we are in the league and in fact it has already began, I think."
Razak has a vast experience in coaching in West Africa after stints with Benin's FC Dragons, Stade Malien of Mali.
Three years ago, some four second-tier sides were implicated in a match-fixing scandal.
