It was a tight clash that featured three Presbyterian schools which had equal chances of winning the contest to qualify for the next stage.
Despite the wild competition they gave to their competitors, Aburi Girls could not live up to their own expectation of qualifying to the one-eighth stage.
Both 'Abugiss' and Krobo Girls scored 37 points each at the end of the contest. They still stand the chance of being selected to be part of the 15 top runners-up to join the next level.

Suhum Presby SHS won the contest with just three points difference as they recorded 40 points at the end of the 'fire' contest which took place on Tuesday.
After picking and getting three riddles right in the last round, Krobo Girls' SHS won the 'GOIL Riddle Bonanza' award for GHC800.
All the schools missed out on the opportunity to win the Prudential Life Insurance NSMQ Star award.
Meanwhile, Sunyani SHS has also booked its place in the one-eighth stage on the national competition. With a total of 58 points, the school also won the GOIL Riddle Bonanza at a cool GH¢1,200.
