The Eagles of Ghana have secured a place in the semi finals of the Rugby Africa 7s World Cup qualifiers after impressive wins at the Paa Joe Stadium on Day One.
Ghana began on a promising note, whitewashing Niger 32-0 before a comfortable 50-0 win over Benin.
Ghana clashes with Benin in Sunday's first semi final while Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivore fight for a slot in the final.
The national female team was also impressive. They comfortable mauled Togo 51-0 in their first game. They struggled in the early part their second game against Burkina Faso but recovered brilliiantly to secure a hard-fought 19-17 win.
Ghana leads the table in the women's category with two games to spare. Cote d'Ivore is second.
Winners progress to the final round of the 7s World Cup qualifiers.
