The Ministry of Youth and Sports via a press release, have informed that it will extend support to Ghana's Amputee men's football team, left stranded in Tanzania.
The Amputee football team, The Black Challengers defeated Liberia in the final game of the tournament to win the African Amputee Football Cup of Nations in Tanzania.
After their achievement however, the team has been unable to purchase a return flight to the Ghana, hence the decision of the ministry.
The ministry also revealed via their press statement that, the team failed to inform the sports ministry about their participation in the games.
Furthermore, the ministry has entreated the National Sports Authority (NSA) to adress the current conflict which has engulfed the leadership of the Amputee Football Federation.
