Day 2 of the Africa Cup of Nations Hockey tournament took off with Ghana losing 1-0 to Egypt after four quarters. Nigeria on the other hand brushed aside Uganda with an emphatic 10-3 victory.
The results mean Egypt have now booked a place in the semi-finals while Ghana have a must win game against Nigeria on matchday 3 at the Thoedosia Okoh hockey pitch in Accra.
Failure to beat Nigeria will see team Ghana knocked out of the Hockey competition.
