The daughter of President Akufo-Addo, Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo, tied the knot over the weekend.
Edwina Akufo-Addo married Kwabena Jumah, the son of the Managing Director of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited in a private ceremony.
In some photos, the couple and their parents were adorned in beautifully designed kente outfits.

The bride also wore a beautiful wedding gown while her husband wore a suit. There were many dignitaries present at the event.

They included her parents President Akufo-Addo and First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote and some NPP stalwarts.

In October 2021, pictures and videos of the pair’s private family introduction went viral on social media.
Following the event, people had assumed that the marriage was arranged.

However, detailing how his son met the President’s daughter, Kofi Jumah said that the couple met in America at a time when they both did not know the profile of their parents.
