The second edition of the Spotlight Creative Arts and Business Awards gala will take place on Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Snap Cinemas in Accra.
Individuals and corporate entities will be recognised for their contributions to the growth of creative arts which has been at the heart of Ghana's socio-economic development.
Founder of the award scheme, Damien Dadzie Richard, said it was imperative to continue the journey of awarding excellence.
"After our fantastic debut, the vision has not changed. The quest for excellence and the building of this great dynasty continues this year. As we promised, the time has come for us to deliver yet again another astonishing and memorable night."
"On this night, we get to appreciate individuals and corporate entities that have shown a tremendous amount of zeal and excellence in the business and creative arts fraternity," he said.
The programme will commence with a red carpet show at 6 pm, while the main show will start at exactly 8 pm.
This year’s packages will be given to the best-dressed male and female from our sponsors.
The Chief Executive Officer of Bamimo Enterprises, Moro Batun, will receive a special honorary award for campaign against skin bleaching and also promoting local "Alata" soap.
Mr Vans Calebs, a well known face in the entertainment industry would also be honoured for his contribution to development of showbiz in Ghana.
Among dignitaries to grace this year's awards are business mogul Paul Amaning, Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan, Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon; Michael Okyere Baafi, Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry.
