Coach Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio, Technical Director of Liberty Professionals FC has dispelled rumours suggesting that he has been flown out of the country for medical treatment.
“I do not think my condition is such that I should be taken outside the country for people to be asked for contributions for my treatment”.
A statement signed by coach Attuquayefio stated.
The statement said “I have been treated by capable doctors at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, who have been taking good care of my recovery.
“I have full confidence in and I believe if there is the need for further treatment outside, my doctors will recommend that”. It added.
The coach said as much as he appreciates the good intentions of goalkeeper William Amamoo, he does not think his condition requires any form of external treatment.
