Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman has completed a move to Greek outfit PAOK Thessaloniki following the termination of his contract by Chelsea Football Club.
Rahman signed for Chelsea from Augsburg in the summer of 2015.
He made 23 appearances in his first campaign, but after suffering a knee injury while with Ghana in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, he never made another appearance for the Blues.
Following his return to full fitness, he was sent on seven different loan spells to various clubs in the subsequent seasons.
After eight years, Chelsea and Rahman agreed to a mutual termination of his contract despite only having a year left on his deal.
The 28-year-old has now returned to PAOK, having already enjoyed an initial loan spell during the second part of the 2020/21 season.
Baba Rahman’s new permanent contract with PAOK runs until June 30 of 2026.
