Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey, is not part of Arsenal’s travelling squad to the USA for preseason, the club said on Sunday.
The 30-year-old is expected to join Mikel Arteta’s side on Tuesday as they step up preparations for the start of the 2023/24 season.
Partey has been training with Arsenal since the start of preseason and featured for 45 minutes in a 1-1 draw against German side Nurnberg last week.
The Ghana deputy captain’s absence is because he lacks full fitness and would not be travelling alongside 2023 Euro U21 champion, Emile Smith Row.
Arsenal will face an MLS All-Star team at Audi Field, Washington D.C on Wednesday, July 19.
The Gunners are expected to play Manchester United in the MetLife Stadium on Saturday, July 22 in New Jersey before the wrap up their tour with a game against Barcelona on Wednesday, July 26 at SoFi Stadium.
