The management of Tema Youth says reports of a takeover of the club but admits they are in search of a strategic investor to help turn around their financial woes.
Reports were rife that the Tema-based side had been put on sale due to financial difficulties.
Club owner Emmanuel Kyeremeh is thought to be bankrolling another Premier League side Bechem Chelsea and the financial burden on both clubs is reported to have weighed on him.
But despite the unstable financial standings they have vowed to create a lasting dynasty hence their quest to seek support from an outside source.
"An outright purchase of the club is out of the question but we are looking for a strategic investor to help us ease our financial difficulties,'' Chief Executive Officer Winfred Osei said.
"Taking care of two clubs is not easy and I must admit it has taken a huge toll on us and that is why we think we need to expand our tentacle and get more corporate sponsors and investors on Board.
"Tema Youth has good structures and we need corporate support to help us maintain the dream."
Tema Youth is currently placed 10th on the league table.
