Thursday's game against Egypt could be good for Ghanaians, according to Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew.
The 32-year-old says he is confident Ghana will recover from their opening-day defeat to Cape Verde to claim the maximum points against the Pharaohs.
Ghana face Egypt in their second Group B game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after their late collapse against Cape Verde.
The Black Stars are hoping to avoid a repeat of the 2021 AFCON performance when they failed to win a game in the group stage, losing two and drawing the other.
"The first game we didn't concentrate [for] 90+ minutes and that's what cost us the game. The most important thing for us is to come back and stay focused," he said at Wednesday's presser.
"We have to stay aggressive and we'll be fine. I have total belief in the players and staff.
"I'm really confident tomorrow will be a good day for Ghana."
A win for Ghana could put them in a good place in Group heading into the last group game against Mozambique on January 21.
