Abigail Dromo, the seven-year-old dancer who placed third in the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent together with Afronita, has been featured in the official music video of Celestine Donkor’s ‘Come and See’ remix.
Abigail’s including in the video spices it up considering her amazing personality, sterling performance at the Britain’s Got Talent reality show and generally her brilliant dance skills.
The message of the song resonates so well with Abigail’s exceptional abilities. Displaying such great dance moves in the wake of her hearing impairment, is testament to the fact that “what God can not does not exist.”
The video also has the two budding artistes featured on the remix of the song: Afiba and Kwaku Hydro.
Afiba and Kwaku Hydro were chosen to be part of the song through the ‘Come and See’ open verse challenge. Afiba, did her rendition in Nzema while Kwaku Hydro did a rap verse.
Following the release of the remix of the song on July 26, 2024, the video is out on Celestial TV.
In the remix of the song, Celestine comes in with refreshingly unique melodies, still communicating to the theme and proving versatility in her craft.
The ‘Come and See’ open verse challenge generated a lot of excitement on social media as hundreds of musicians and music lovers proved their musical prowess by doing their verses on the song.
The original ‘Come and See’ song is the second in the series of features that Celestine has lined up with her colleague female gospel artistes in Ghana and beyond.
She started with Obaapa Christy on the song ‘What Shall I Render’, a song that won the hearts of many music lovers across the globe.
