Ghanaian celebrity and lifestyle blogger, Ameyaw Debrah has opened up about some of the financial difficulties that bloggers encounter.
The blogger stated that the story of blogging is distinct from many other jobs where workers receive a salary every month.
Speaking on JoyLearning's 'The Career Trail' programme, he indicated that, blogging is associated with irregular remuneration.

‘With blogging, your next paycheck is not assured,’ he said.
According to him, there are fluctuations in the way audiences engage with content; hence, periods of high consumption augment one's earnings, while periods of low consumption reduce it.
Ameyaw however noted that there are many other avenues bloggers can depend on to generate revenue in addition to content creation.
These avenues include paid posts, direct advertising, social media engagements and promos, he mentioned.
"There are a lot of opportunities out there, so if you tap into it, and you build that network, that community, there are a lot of chances that you can make a living out of it," he established.
Ameyaw Debrah further cautioned against quitting your job if you already have one and you want to start a blog.
He stated that blogging is flexible and can be done in addition to other occupations as long as your employer or company has no problems with it.
"If you are starting, you don’t have to quit everything and do it. It’s about writing, by creating content. When you get the chance you can do it. You can do it once a week, twice a week, daily, based on what your schedule is. And so, the flexibility to do other things is there", he noted.
